During the last days of this year–whether you celebrate Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, or Festivus–I hope you experience the joy of:

  • Feeling understood by someone else
  • Understanding someone else
  • Being a recipient of an unexpected kindness
  • Paying a kindness forward
  • Learning something new
  • Teaching something to another person
  • Finding a passion—perhaps an incredible food, hobby or way of doing something
  • Feeling engaged in the moment
  • Appreciating the marvel of taking a breath, awakening to the sun, or feeling snowflakes on your face

With gratitude for all your contributions to me, others and this blog,

Irene
